The Massif de l'Etoile

For lovers of hiking holidays in Provence, we recommend a hiking trip of medium difficulty. Thus, the start is at Col Saint Anne to make the loop around the Baou Traouqua mountain, which is part of the Massif de l'Etoile. The hiking trail will take you up the ridge and offer you superb views of Sainte-Victoire, Garlaban and Sainte-Baume. The Massif de l'étoile extends over nearly 10,000 hectares and offers landscapes that make it a very popular hiking destination in Provence.

In spring, inspire with each stride the scents of the surroundings. Book this hike for spring or fall or avoid hot days. It is imperative to leave prepared: good walking shoes, backpack, water bottles, hat and sunscreen are essential. Consider renting hiking equipment if you are not well equipped. If you visit Provence, you will not regret this excursion which will make you discover the most beautiful panoramas of the surroundings. We also advise you, if you like to take some height and want to visit Marseille, to go to the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde. Located on the highest point of the city, it offers a breathtaking view of the Phocaean city.
