Are you on holiday in the south of France or just for a weekend in Marseille and you want to take advantage of our wonderful climate to do outdoor activities? We offer you a guided tour for a walk along the coast of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. This hike will take you through the vineyards, pine forests and creeks. The coastal path will offer you magnificent panoramas. To start, remember to be properly equipped before starting this hiking tour. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and of course adapted shoes are essential to go for a relaxing walk. The hike starts in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. Let's go, follow the guide!

Explore the Saint-Cyr-Sur-Mer coast

The starting point of our hike starts in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. Especially appreciated for its beaches in summer, the quality of the sea in the seaside city is rewarded with the Blue Flag and Starfish Blue Flag labels. Saint-Cyr is one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. So it would be a shame to forget your swimsuit! Once you are properly equipped, all you have to do is walk along the coast to discover the calanques and their magnificent beaches. Thus, you will follow the path through Pointe Fauconnière, the Baie des Nations to the Calanque du Port d'Alon. Enjoy the fauna and flora around you, which contrast with the sea. In this idyllic setting, a well-deserved swim is a must. This small wild beach surrounded by nature is a true haven of peace. Let's now continue our journey by leaving the coast and heading inland towards Moutte. On arrival, it is possible to follow the yellow markings and crapahuter on the dune. If you are not a fan of hiking, why not rent a boat and discover the coast from the sea? You can stop and eat in one of the restaurants in the calanques, which offer you a magnificent setting.

The seaside resort of Bandol

Not far from Saint-Cyr, is the city of Bandol. Renowned for its wines with an AOC and its beaches, this typical Provençal town will allow you to relax and regain your strength after your hike. It is also one of the largest French marinas. We often forget that among the places to visit in Marseille and its surroundings, Bandol is a destination worth a visit!

How to get to the start of the hike?

By car From Marseille Hôtel de Ville (45km - 45min): Take the A50 towards La Bourrasque in La Cadière-d'Azur. Take exit 10 and no longer follow the A50. Continue on La Bourrasque. Drive on the D559, D1559, D87, route de la Madrague and avenue de l'Abbé Dol towards route du Feu la Navette in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. Park your car along the road at the sign indicating the Don Bosco Institution.
