Marseille Tourisme has selected this walking tour for you, offering you the opportunity to visit Marseille and its surroundings in a different way. You will discover the landscapes of Marseille between sky and sea!

So here we go!

Departure of the tour: The Fort de Niolon

To follow this tour, you will have to start from Niolon. You can get there by the Train de la Côte Bleue from Marseille. This route by itself is worth it and will offer you a breathtaking view of the Marseille coast and its calanques. Discover the Fort de Niolon, a collection of French military batteries from the 1860s. To access it you can follow the path towards "Le Jonquier". The walk in the hill is easy to access and pleasant. The Fort Niolon offers a clear and simply magnificent view of the bay of Marseille. Don't forget your camera!!!!!

Calanque de l'Erevine

After this stop, continue your walk to reach the Calanque de l'Erevine. For the most motivated, you can take a detour to discover the Vallon de l'Éverine. Located between Méhean and Niolon, it is, for the lovers of the calanques, the most beautiful cove of the Blue Coast. Be careful when descending to the Calanque, it is difficult to access because the slope is steep and the rock dazzles more than one visitor. Far from the hustle and bustle of Marseille's beaches, this small haven of peace is worth a visit!

A walk with a view over the sea

This tour will allow you to walk around Marseille while enjoying the view of the sea. If you prefer to go by sea, you can rent a boat and sail to the Calanque. The restaurants with a view of the beach are located in the city center of Niolon and will offer you the opportunity to eat after this walk.
