The tour of the Mont Julien: a trek that is worth it.

If you like hiking and you come to visit Marseille, this hike will certainly please you! Park at the Parking de Galice, on the left of the Town Hall. You will then be ready to start our route plan. And why not plan your own itinerary? Do you have good shoes, water and sunscreen? So here we go! The hiking trail is a loop that will take you into the rocky hills. You can also climb to its summit and enjoy the panorama. From the ridges, you can observe Marseille, lying on the horizon between sea and nature. You may even be able to see its pollution veil. Take a deep breath of oxygen from the heights, so enjoy it!

Like many hikes in Provence, you will have a magnificent view. In particular, you can enjoy the view of the Sainte-Victoire massif, the plain of the hinterland, the Col du Tubé or even the Sainte-Baume. Not bad, huh? The hiking trails are stony and you will have to deal with a steep ascent and descent. Be aware, however, that access to the Bouches-du-Rhône mountain ranges is regulated by a prefectoral decree.

By car 41min - 38,3km. Join the A55, then take the A501, then the A52. Take exit 33 and continue on the D96. Enter La Destrousse. Follow Valdonne, Peypin and finally Cadolive.
